Job Overview
The Senior MRI Clinical Scientist at Philips North America collaborates with medical doctors and physicists at leading academic hospitals, including the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, focusing on the research, development, and evaluation of new medical applications for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Your Role
You will guide, conduct, and support advanced clinical research for Philips MRI systems. Responsibilities include operating Philips MR scanners, performing both volunteer and patient scanning, and advising users on scanner capabilities and development tools. You will build a scientific network, report new insights, and aid in clinical co-creation projects, contributing to generating ideas, prototypes, intellectual property, and evidence through scientific publications.
- Operate Philips MR scanners for clinical and research studies
- Collaborate with luminary clinical and research partners
- Author documentation and publications from clinical research
- Present findings at international conferences
- Support sales by sharing expert clinical insights
You’re The Right Fit If
Candidates possess 5+ years of post-PhD experience in MRI/clinical imaging. A strong knowledge of MRI Physics is required, and skills in MR Pulse Programming, reconstruction, or AI development are highly desired. Proven experience with research grants, customer engagement, and excellent communication are essential.
How We Work Together
This role requires on-site presence 3 days a week at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Philips promotes teamwork across global departments including clinical science, marketing, legal, and sales.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position in Dallas, TX is $129,375 to $207,000, plus potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, 401k, HSA, stock purchase, and education reimbursement.
Additional Information
US work authorization is required; relocation benefits are not provided. Occasional travel up to 10% may be required. Apply early as this requisition may close before 45 days if a suitable candidate is found.
