Job Description: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at Philips, you will be instrumental in transforming complex and diverse datasets from multiple sources into actionable insights. Working under general supervision, you will inform strategic decision-making and drive business improvements across various departments. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to key stakeholders.

Your Role

• Analyzes complex and diverse datasets from multiple sources to uncover actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business improvements across various departments, working under general supervision.
• Creates advanced data visualizations and comprehensive reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Prepares detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and outcomes, ensuring clarity, reproducibility, and adherence to industry best practices and internal standards within a limited level of autonomy.
• Optimizes sophisticated data models, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and databases, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability in data management practices.
• Works with cross-functional teams, including Information Technology (IT), marketing, operations, and finance, to understand their data requirements, provide analytical support, and contribute to strategic initiatives and projects.
• Ensures strict compliance with data privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as company policies, maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security.
• Conducts comprehensive data validation, cleansing, and verification processes using statistical methods and quality assurance techniques to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources.
• Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical business metrics, providing regular updates, trend analyses, and actionable insights to management, supporting continuous improvement and performance optimization efforts.
• Supports data-related audits and compliance checks by preparing and providing timely, accurate data, detailed documentation, and insightful analysis to internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Executes cutting-edge data analysis methodologies and technologies, leveraging automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to enhance analytical capabilities, streamline processes, and drive significant business growth.

You're The Right Fit If

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Econometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics OR equivalent with min. 6 years of experience in Data Handling, Data Analytics, AI Modeling or equivalent.
