Required Experience & Skills

As a Senior Data Engineer, you should have 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst. You must be capable of developing end-to-end technical solutions and ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.

  • Programming expertise in Java, Python, and/or Scala
  • Experience with core cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GCP
  • Strong SQL skills with ability to write, debug, and optimize queries
  • Client-facing communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Experience in detailed documentation and presentation creation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Production experience in core data platforms like Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, Databricks
  • Experience with cloud and distributed data storage systems (S3, ADLS, HDFS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data integration technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and various ETL tools
  • Familiarity with automated data transformation tools (dbt, Spark Streaming)
  • Understanding of workflow management and orchestration (Airflow, Luigi, NiFi)
