Overview

Responsibilities

  • Kubernetes Ownership: Manage and scale AWS EKS clusters ensuring reliability and security.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform/Pulumi.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Blockchain Infrastructure: Configure and maintain crypto nodes across multiple blockchains.
  • Database Scaling: Optimize and scale database infrastructure for blockchain data.
  • System Reliability: Enhance uptime, monitoring, and observability using Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
  • Collaboration: Work with backend and product teams on feature development and scaling.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a SRE or Software Engineer role.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production.
  • Proficient with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
  • Experienced with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Monitoring and observability skills using Datadog or OpenTelemetry.

Salary and Benefits

Base salary is between $200,000 to $250,000 plus equity and benefits. Compensation is based on skillset, experience, interview quality, and market factors.
