The Opportunity: Software Engineer, Trading

As a Software Engineer, Trading at Phantom, you will be instrumental in building the advanced systems that drive our trading experiences. This role involves designing and implementing robust APIs, scalable data pipelines, and essential services that seamlessly connect blockchain infrastructure with the intuitive user experiences Phantom is known for. You will focus on integrating and aggregating new trading protocols, various trade types, and experimenting with innovative trading surfaces, directly shaping the future of how users discover, execute, and interact with digital asset trades across diverse ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Own and deliver features for our web platforms, including the Phantom Extension and website.
• New Initiatives: Lead efforts to add support for additional blockchains and launch complementary products or infrastructure.
• User Interfacing: Directly engage with end-users and developers to provide support and gather crucial feedback for product direction.
• Team Building: Collaborate to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.
• English language proficiency.
• Nice-To-Have: Experience working with trading systems.

The target base salary for this role ranges from $200,000 to $250,000, supplemented by equity and benefits, determined by skillset, experience, interview quality, and market factors.
