Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Rust Engineer at Phantom, you will contribute across the full stack, from building engaging user interfaces and cross-platform client infrastructure on the frontend, to developing APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that connect blockchain technology with exceptional user experiences.

• Transaction Reliability & Performance: Design and optimize systems to ensure fast and consistent Phantom transaction execution amidst evolving Solana network conditions.
• Order Flow Optimization: Architect strategies to maximize value capture and execution quality from Phantom’s unique retail order flow.
• Ecosystem Awareness: Stay current with Solana market structure changes, including developments from Jito, Solana client developers, and new SIMD proposals, adapting Phantom’s systems to leverage these advancements.
• Cutting-Edge Infrastructure: Collaborate cross-functionally to build resilient, performant systems that establish new benchmarks for wallet transaction infrastructure.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven individual passionate about building cutting-edge transaction landing infrastructure, with:

• A minimum of 5 years in software development.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Rust.
• Proven experience contributing to Solana client development or forks.
• Mastery of English, both spoken and written.
