Job Description
Role Summary
The Manager, Clinical Pharmacology will join a team of scientists supporting oncology development programs. As the Clinical Pharmacology Lead, you will provide clinical pharmacology expertise to a multidisciplinary project team in an oncology program.
Role Responsibilities
You will act as the Clinical Pharmacology representative on Clinical Sub Teams and Development Teams, contribute to Clinical Study Protocols, Reports, and Clinical Pharmacology plans, and support the design and oversight of clinical pharmacology studies. You will implement model-based drug development using quantitative approaches, conduct non-compartmental analysis, and perform PK/PD analyses including population modeling and simulations. Integration of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, patient characteristics, and disease states to optimize dosing strategies is essential. You will provide dosing recommendations, contribute to regulatory documents, and participate in resolving clinical pharmacology queries from regulatory agencies while working in a matrix environment.
Basic Qualifications
PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Engineering or PharmD and 0-2 years of post-graduate experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in interpreting PK and PK/PD data, hands-on experience with software tools such as R, NONMEM, and Monolix. Relocation support is available.
Work Arrangement & Compensation
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work an average of 2.5 days per week. The annual base salary ranges from $106,000 to $171,500 and is eligible for Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15% and long-term incentive participation.
