About the Role

The Out-of-Network Insurance Billing Specialist will manage insurance claims, verify benefits, and ensure accurate billing processes. This full-time, remote role supports day-to-day operations and overall practice efficiency through hands-on practice management and client communication.

Responsibilities

Conduct insurance benefits lookups and provide summaries to clients and clinicians.
Submit out-of-network claims using Simple Practice.
Allocate session payments and update client records.
Communicate with therapy associates and clients on billing inquiries.
Perform quality checks for successful claims processing.
Troubleshoot and track issues such as incorrect payments and recoups.
