About the Role

The Contracts Administrator plays a key role in handling all aspects of government and commercial contracts at Persistent Systems, LLC. You will manage contracts from proposal development to close-out, ensuring compliance with Federal Government Regulations including FAR and DFAR, as well as internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, negotiate, and manage international government and commercial contracts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contract-related matters with internal teams.
  • Manage IDIQ contracts and task orders ensuring keen monitoring of obligations and funding.
  • Maintain tracking systems for contract details and escalate issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align contract strategies.
  • Support compliant cost proposals with pricing, labor categorizations, and risk analysis.
  • Monitor contract funding, initiate funding actions, and prepare required notifications.
  • Review and approve prime contract invoices ensuring accuracy and documentation.
  • Participate in audits and external assessments to confirm compliance.
  • Identify and escalate contract risks while developing mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on evolving federal acquisition regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration or related roles.
  • Experience in international government contracting or defense industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and export controls (ITAR/EAR) required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and travel 10-15% of the time.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $69,865 to $110,000 per year based on experience and education.
