Software Specialist
Perseus Group, Constellation Software is seeking a Software Specialist to join their Customer Care team. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, this role is responsible for providing direct software support to customers, investigating and resolving issues with the Constellation Suite of Products.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level investigation and resolution for customer software issues.
- Collaborate closely with the development team, documenting and communicating software-related problems.
- Accurately and timely track all reported issues using the call management tool.
- Meet defined service levels for unresolved problems, reassigning tickets as needed.
- Apply technical aptitude (operating systems, PCs, printers, remote-control utilities) to resolve client issues.
- Advise the Customer Care Manager on sensitive client situations.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and product training sessions.
- Make recommendations for problem resolution, service improvement, and enhanced support.
- Develop frequently asked questions (FAQ) documentation.
- Work varied shifts to ensure maximum help desk coverage.
- Attend service release handoff meetings as requested.
Qualifications and Skills

- College/University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Customer Support Experience.
- General Accounting/Costing knowledge.
- Courses or experience in Residential Construction, Commercial Construction, Property Management, Real Estate Management, or IT fields.
- Proficiency in MS Windows applications.
- Comfortable using remote access utilities (e.g., Remote Desktop, VPN).
