Job Description

ProAdmin Support Specialist

WinTech, part of the Gemini Group and Constellation Software Inc. (CSI), is seeking an experienced Defined Benefit (DB) professional to join our team as a ProAdmin Product Specialist. This remote role, open to candidates across the United States, involves product support, training, testing, and client implementation of ProAdmin solutions. You'll work with a leading actuarial software provider, leveraging the stability of CSI while maintaining the agility of a specialized team.

About Our Products:

Our product suite includes:

  • ProAdmin: A robust suite of defined benefit administration tools (ProAdmin Desktop and ProAdmin Server) for outsourcers, corporations, and actuaries, enabling complex plan provision coding without programmers. ProAdmin Server integrates the calculation engine into client architectures like participant websites.
  • ProVal: The global standard for pension valuation and forecasting.
  • ProVal PS: A desktop toolkit for plan sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct alpha and beta testing for ProAdmin enhancements and client solutions, review interface changes, calculation results, and help features.
  • Client Support & Consulting: Provide expert advice and troubleshoot issues for ProAdmin users, supporting ProAdmin Desktop, Server, Online, and Fulfillment Tool.
  • Client Engagement: Configure client DB plans using ProAdmin Desktop, manage integrations, and collaborate with clients and internal teams on projects.
  • Training: Update ProAdmin training manuals, develop web training content, and deliver user training (onsite and virtual).
  • Development & Programming: Participate in the design of ProAdmin enhancements based on user feedback, regulatory changes, and advancements. Opportunities exist to work with senior programmers on implementation using APL (programming experience not required).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or a related field. Actuarial credentials are a plus.
  • 5+ years in DB outsourcing or DB valuation.
  • Expertise in DB plan document interpretation and setup.
  • Mastery of actuarial concepts and benefit calculations (data storage, UI development, output, software updates).
  • Experience with DB administration workflows in outsourcing and client environments.
  • Previous experience developing general benefit calculation tools.
  • Expertise in creating participant forms and letters.
  • Knowledge of current US defined benefit administration rules, regulations, and calculations.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to create a spreadsheet or program for benefit calculations (annuity factors, complex salary/service calculations) without templates.
  • Strong mathematical and logical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
  • SQL or database experience is an asset.
  • Experience with ProAdmin or ProVal is an asset.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience managing client projects and relationships is an asset.

Company Culture & Values:

At Gemini, we believe in making long-term investments in people, technology, and customers. We foster growth through continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
