Position Summary

Andromeda, a market group within Constellation Software, Inc., is building a new expansion segment. We are seeking an ambitious and experienced M&A Business Development Associate to build a new pipeline and convert opportunities into acquisitions.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Create target lists using Salesforce and complete 100% of prospect contacts and renewals.
  • Meet activity quotas and schedule in-depth meetings using various contact methods.
  • Attend trade shows to engage in meaningful dialogue and nurture leads.
  • Facilitate document exchange for initial M&A transaction stages and record activities in Salesforce.

Supporting Research and Analysis:

  • Prepare in-depth analysis of companies and set objectives for each call.
  • Conduct extensive online research using LinkedIn, industry lists, and websites.
  • Develop expertise in the expansion market and understand key industry issues.
  • Continuously monitor market trends to add value during engagements.

Qualifications

Applicants must have 2+ years of prior c-suite sales experience with strong phone and in-person sales skills. Required are excellent written and verbal communication, solid research skills, proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, financial research tools, and Salesforce.com. Candidates should be proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under deadlines.
