The Role
As a Governance Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will strengthen and scale our security and compliance program by developing and maintaining frameworks for regulatory, contractual, and operational standards. You will work with engineering, product, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with frameworks including SOC 2, CJIS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP as we expand.
What You’ll Do
- Implement, track, and continuously improve compliance frameworks.
- Manage documentation, internal audits, and evidence collection.
- Collaborate on updating policies, procedures, and controls.
- Maintain security best practices in cloud environments, especially AWS.
- Utilize compliance management tools to streamline reporting.
- Partner with technical teams on IAM, MFA, and least-privilege principles.
- Support audit readiness and respond to compliance inquiries.
About You
You have 5-10 years of experience in information security, compliance, or risk management. Your expertise spans multiple compliance frameworks and you possess technical knowledge of cloud-native SaaS environments, including AWS services. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator capable of translating complex security concepts into actionable language.
Preferred Certifications & Bonus Points
Certifications such as CGRC, CISSP, CISA, and cloud security credentials are a plus. Bonus points for experience with public safety or government agencies and familiarity with overlapping control frameworks.
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is based at one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Washington, D.C., with a 4 days/week in-office requirement.
