Program Overview
The Software Developer Part-Time will join a diverse team responsible for both front-end and back-end support in data analysis and web application development.
About The Role
This role involves working on web development projects, modifying existing interfaces, writing technical documentation, ensuring 508 compliance, and collaborating closely with customers and technical experts. Candidates must have strong skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Java, with demonstrated experience in SQL and responsive, accessible web design.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to ongoing projects with front-end and back-end support.
- Develop and modify web interfaces and complete website projects.
- Write technical documentation detailing development methods.
- Collaborate with customers and subject matter experts to meet requirements.
- Ensure applications meet 508 accessibility standards.
- Provide backend framework solutions for data processing.
- Maintain high customer service and team collaboration.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years' experience or 9 years with a HS diploma; extensive experience in website and web application design using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and related frameworks; proficiency in SQL and 508 compliant design; ability to work both independently and in teams; must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for Agency clearance.
Preferred: Active Public Trust clearance is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
