About The Role
Peraton is seeking a QA Automation Engineer, Lead. This position will perform the following, but not limited to:
- Leads and oversees test case automation effort.
- Provides direction and oversight of the QA team including the conversion of manual test cases and the implementation and execution of the automated tests.
- Automation includes functional, regression, integration, and accessibility testing, in alignment with DoD Section 508 requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Ensures QA Program Documentation, and associated repositories are properly established and maintained.
- Provides direction and oversight of the QA team.
- Works on the development and implementation of software test plans, scenarios, scripts, and quality assurance programs.
- Analyzes test cases and functional specifications to determine best approach for automating scripts.
- Creates automated tests to augment manual testing.
- Promotes and adopts consistent testing standards, tools, and processes.
- Performs analysis on complex business requirements and software problems.
- Performs verification and validation of software products, develops test protocols, and is responsible for drafting and updating documentation of results.
- Provides effort estimates based on high-level assumptions.
- Identifies data for testing and creates test design including test cases and conditions.
- Runs tests and diagnoses problems to ensure user requirements are met.
- Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have active Public Trust clearance
- Experience in developing automated tests using tools like Selenium and AccelQ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SQL
- Experience working with verification and validation of software products

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
