Program Overview
Peraton's Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) team supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with critical technical solutions and modernization efforts.
About The Role: Lead Business Systems Analyst
Peraton is seeking an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will gather, manage, and prioritize the collection, documentation, analysis, reporting, communication, and strategy of all system requirements, integrations, and customer relationship management development work. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth and effective technical solutions, including maintenance of current systems, enhancements, and modernization efforts at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
This role is based out of Windsor Mill, MD. Depending on the selected candidate's location, this role can be worked as fully remote, hybrid, or onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Analyze gathered requirements for clarity, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support testing activities, review test cases, and verify solution meets desired outcomes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, addressing questions.
- Identify system enhancement opportunities, analyze processes, propose solutions for efficiency.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 9 years experience with BA/BS.
- Ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical and analytical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written & oral), and collaboration skills; comfortable interacting with engineers and senior executives.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
- Experience with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) or Federal Healthcare Programs.
- Experience and/or knowledge of CMS processes and standards.
- Experience with DME, Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, or Medicare Common Working File (CWF) specific processing systems.
