Job Description

Overview

The Senior Brand Manager, Energy UK will be responsible for leading the energy strategy in the UK. This involves developing calendar initiatives in partnership with sector and IB teams. The role requires creating assets, leveraging Insights teams and bottlers to understand consumer needs. The candidate will also lead the TCP agenda, ensuring effective media and plans are in place. A key aspect is driving bottler alignment to plans and coordinating BTL activity with ATL. Contributions to key business processes like ICP, TCP planning, and Comms development are expected, alongside managing, planning, and monitoring A&M spend.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Director in delivering the energy strategy and brand calendars.
  • Lead the development of set initiatives in the calendar, creating and delivering programs.
  • Lead and develop effective and compelling TCP and media plans.
  • Lead the Insights plan and implement learnings into campaign development.
  • Lead digital and OOH content production.
  • Lead artwork, key visual, and shopper toolkit development and handover.
  • Lead Influencer strategy and implementation.
  • Lead the ‘Live Nation partnership’, including festival and sampling activation.
  • Lead social media strategy, content development, and activation.
  • Understand and represent the needs of our bottlers and help build initiatives into our plans.
  • Collaborate with the bottler to create selling materials.
  • Shape a perfect portfolio from a consumer/shopper needs perspective, NRM and PPA considerations.
  • Lead A&M (Advertising & Marketing) in the UK.
  • Lead performance management, including recommending course correction and actions.
  • Lead key projects through the Gate Stage process, representing the needs of PepsiCo and the bottler.

Qualifications

  • Strong consumer understanding and brand building skills, including leveraging consumer insights for stronger activations and campaigns.
  • Analytical skills to create robust analysis and meaningful insights for driving actions and highlighting opportunities.
  • Commercially savvy with a grasp of commercial basics to work independently with Carlsberg Britvic brand managers.
  • Proven project management track record in managing multiple projects in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment (ideally FMCG), demonstrating maturity and foresight.
  • Experience in engaging and leading cross-functional teams, internal, and external partners.
  • Experience leading external agencies to develop and deliver winning marketing plans and content.
  • Budget Management experience.
