Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of manufacturing assets. The role involves executing preventative and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic factory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality checks pre and post maintenance activities.
- Adhere strictly to regulatory, safety, and PepsiCo standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to the autonomous maintenance team.
- Execute maintenance activities with a focus on maximising wrench time.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Key Behaviours
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with demonstrable hands-on experience, along with recognized Electrical/Mechanical qualifications are required. Additional certifications (City & Guilds 2391, IET Wiring Regulations) are advantageous. Key behaviours include ownership for safety and quality, commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
