HR Data and Insights Analyst

Pepper Money UK is seeking an HR Data and Insights Analyst to join their dynamic HR team in BGC, Taguig. This role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Pepper Money is a specialist mortgage lender backed by a global financial institution, passionate about helping people succeed.

What you will be doing

As an HR Data & Insights Analyst, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. You will be responsible for HR reporting across various metrics, producing timely dashboards and analysis, and ensuring data integrity. Your role will involve translating stakeholder requirements into effective reports and Power BI dashboards, improving and automating reporting processes, and providing commentary to support HR and business decisions. You will also act as a subject matter expert for HR data in cross-functional reporting and support broader HR analytics initiatives, including the use of advanced tools like Python and R. Ensuring compliance with HR data governance and Data Protection requirements is also a key part of this role.

  • Owning HR reporting across headcount, workforce planning, DE&I, absence, pay, and other core people metrics.
  • Producing accurate, timely dashboards and analysis, ensuring data integrity.
  • Translating stakeholder requirements into clear, effective reports and Power BI dashboards.
  • Improving and automating reporting processes in partnership with HR Shared Services.
  • Providing commentary and insight to support informed HR and business decisions.
  • Acting as an SME for HR data within cross-functional reporting and enterprise dashboards.
  • Supporting broader HR analytics initiatives, including use of advanced tools such as Python, R and big‑data sources.
  • Ensuring all reporting meets HR data governance and Data Protection requirements.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an analytical, curious, and detail-driven individual who is passionate about using data to uncover insights. The ideal candidate can confidently work with complex data and communicate findings clearly to various stakeholders. Experience in HR data analysis, business analysis, or data management, preferably within Financial Services, is essential. Strong reporting and dashboard development skills with advanced Excel and Power BI are required. The ability to present data through clear storytelling and visualization is crucial. Working knowledge of R or Python and familiarity with HR systems like SuccessFactors are advantageous. You should possess strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver at pace. A degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related discipline is also required.

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR data analysis, business analysis, or data management.
  • Strong reporting and dashboard development skills with advanced Excel and Power BI.
  • Ability to present data through clear storytelling and visualisation.
  • Working knowledge of R or Python (desirable).
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working independently, managing competing priorities and delivering at pace.
  • A degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Business Administration, Accountancy or a related discipline.
