As a People Generalist, you will oversee the employee lifecycle across North America and LATAM, including onboarding, offboarding, and the contingent worker program. You will utilize Workday and AI tools to automate tasks, create dashboards, and improve the employee experience. Working closely with Finance, IT, and Legal, you will standardize scalable processes and ensure compliance with regional employment laws to support a high-growth, tech-enabled workforce.
Responsibilities
- Support People Business Partners across various areas such as Workday business processes, reports/metrics, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Own the Contingent Worker process for North America and LATAM
- Manage employment verifications across North America and LATAM
- Provide backup support for new hire orientation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and employment laws
- Contribute to the development and updating of policies
- Collaborate on People team projects and initiatives focused on continuous improvement
- Partner with People Business Partners on employee engagement and retention strategies
- Serve as a Workday subject matter expert, supporting data integrity, business process configuration, and audits
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to support data-driven decision-making
- Identify and implement opportunities for process automation within People Operations
- Leverage AI tools to streamline administrative work, improve knowledge management, and enhance employee self-service resources
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Legal on compliance and process improvements
- Document and standardize SOPs to create scalable and repeatable processes
- Continuously assess People systems and tools to improve efficiency, employee experience, and data accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a People Operations role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong ethical standards
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving abilities and solid knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems (strong hands-on experience with Workday required), Google Suite, and the ability to quickly learn new technical systems
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks of varying complexity
- Knowledge of local and federal laws and regulations
- Experience improving operational efficiency through automation tools
- Familiarity with AI tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate people data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience supporting distributed and/or global teams
- Experience handling confidential data with a high level of discretion and compliance rigor
- Comfort working in high-growth or rapidly scaling technology environments
- Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions

Pay
$108k to $120k annually.
