Junior Business Analyst, Data Focus
A leading organisation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support a major Enterprise Network Modernisation Program. This role sits within a high-performing Program Management Office (PMO) and offers an excellent entry point into large-scale technical transformation programs.

About the Role
As a Junior Business Analyst, Data Focus, you will support the PMO with data management, reporting, documentation, and coordination activities that contribute to program performance and visibility. You will work closely with experienced analysts, project managers, and technical teams while developing your analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
Your work will help ensure accurate reporting, clear insights, and effective program governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Reporting Support: Assist in collecting, organising, and maintaining program data. Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports. Help monitor program performance metrics and highlight trends.
- Analysis & Insights: Conduct basic data analysis to identify patterns and support decision-making. Assist senior team members in preparing insights and recommendations.
- Documentation & Governance: Support the creation and maintenance of documentation (process guides, SOPs, templates). Ensure data standards and governance processes are followed.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with technical and business teams to gather information. Assist with meeting coordination, note-taking, and action tracking.
- Process Mapping & Testing Support: Help document workflows and process maps. Support testing activities related to reporting tools and system updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve reporting, data quality, and PMO processes.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or near completion) in Business, IT, Data, or a related field.
- 0–2 years’ experience in a Business Analyst, PMO, or data-focused role (internships welcome).
- Strong Excel skills and interest in data analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, reporting tools, or basic SQL (desirable but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured program environment.
