Maintenance Manager

What You'll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate the entire maintenance activity from both a mechanical and electrical perspective, providing essential support for the optimal development of related activities within the company in Romania.

• Coordinates the entire maintenance activity and provides support for the optimal development of other related activities.
• Allocates costs within approved budgets.
• Improves the reliability of equipment and machinery by reducing accidental failures through predictive/preventive maintenance strategies and optimal development of intervention methods.
• Operates the treatment plant for technological waters captured from the factory territory, adhering to existing quality standards, current legislation, and tasks set by the hierarchical Manager.
• Monitors ISCIR equipment and installations at the end of their operation period according to ISCIR technical prescriptions.
• Coordinates the maintenance team.
• Maintains the preventive maintenance system and process.
• Develops, recommends, and implements new strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
• Optimizes predictive maintenance activities by monitoring and recommending changes for inspection routes, inspection frequencies, and equipment lists if necessary.
• Evaluates project outlines and cost estimates to make informed implementation decisions.
• Maintains and monitors the database with unplanned equipment downtime; generates downtime analysis reports and performs Pareto analyses on results to identify opportunities and prioritize improvement efforts.
• Monitors the execution and efficiency of lubrication and inspection routes.
• Collaborates closely with other departments such as Production, Safety, and QFS to maintain processes, equipment, and people in safe conditions.
• Reviews performance reports required for asset management.
• Communicates asset management key performance indicators as well as company performance indicators.
• Works closely with Department supervisors and Procurement staff.
• Prepares and maintains indicator records to enable meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance results.
• Optimizes maintenance resources and reduces maintenance costs.

Ideal Profile

The successful Maintenance Manager candidate will possess a strong engineering background and proven experience in a similar capacity, coupled with excellent organizational and leadership qualities.

• Engineer Degree – graduated.
• Relevant experience on a similar role.
• Enthusiasm and motivation, great anticipation/organizing skills.
• Good management skills.
• Ability to take initiative.
• Reliability, accuracy, punctuality.
• Fluent in English.
