Cyber Research Architect

About the Role

The Cyber Research Architect role at Pentera is a full-time hybrid position in the Research Group. In this role, you will shape the evolution of our product security through innovative research, vulnerability discovery, and advanced attack simulation. You will explore new domains, identify product gaps, and pioneer techniques that directly impact our automated security validation engine.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead offensive research and vulnerability discovery across diverse platforms.
• Pioneer research into AI/ML systems and develop unique attack vectors.
• Convert research insights into scalable security capabilities.
• Architect and build tools to automate security research operations.
• Emulate sophisticated cyber attacks to refine our security engine.

Requirements

• 6+ years in security research, with a focus on offensive operations.
• Track record in breaking complex systems across multiple environments.
• Expertise in AI/ML security and attacking LLM-based applications.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Go.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Linux internals, reverse engineering, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Preferred Skills

• Active participation in security community events and publications.
• Experience designing security architectures for large-scale enterprises.
