Position Summary

This Dedicated Operations Manager role at Penske Careers, with EPES Transport, LLC - a division of Penske Logistics - is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and located in Matthews, NC. The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned Dedicated Account(s) ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. The focus is on driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth while reviewing financial statements for improvement opportunities.

Shift Details

Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30 pm (Onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Schedule customer shipments to meet service expectations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll.
  • Submit billing on time and resolve billing issues with customers.
  • Manage daily driver interactions and escalate issues when required.
  • Coordinate with PTL for timely equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Implement company safety programs including Smart Drive and driver coaching.
  • Contribute to business plan goals aligning operational and strategic objectives.
  • Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned.
