About the Role & Team

As a Senior Android Developer on the Sportsbook Experiences team, you will work on premier betting products including ESPN Bet and theScore Bet. The role focuses on delivering a performant, engaging, and delightful gaming experience for sports fans. You will handle real-time data, collaborate across multiple teams, and continuously innovate the mobile experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and ship customer experience features.
  • Create polished, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
  • Refactor code and implement modern design patterns.
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend, and backend teams.
  • Solve challenges related to large data sets and responsive UIs.
  • Automate testing and support continuous integration practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest in Android development.

About You

You should have over 4 years of experience with Kotlin and 5+ years in commercial Native Android development. Proficiency in unit testing frameworks, JetPack components, dependency injection, and modern software architectures like MVVM is essential. Your background in handling large code bases, optimizing performance, and integrating APIs will be key to success in this role. A passion for sports or gaming is a plus.
