Retail Operations Associate
Are you a shoe lover? Do you have a passion for providing "shoe joy" to customers? Join our team at Peltz Shoes where you will play a vital role in daily store operations. Work either full-time or part-time with availability on weekends, starting shifts at 8:30 am for a full 8-hour shift.
Summary
As a Retail Operations Associate, you will assist with sales processes, merchandising, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and store upkeep to ensure a smooth running store and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations: Assist with sales, merchandising, visual displays and store maintenance.
- Shipping and Receiving: Process daily shipments, unload deliveries and process internet orders.
- Merchandising & Visual Maintenance: Maintain product displays and ensure standards, stock shoe bins by size and style.
- Inventory Control: Support inventory receiving, order fulfillment and perform inventory checks.
- Task Support: Collaborate with store leadership on projects and additional responsibilities.
- Markdowns & Transfers: Assist with markdown projects and inventory transfers.
- Vendor Returns: Help process vendor returns as necessary.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year retail experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently.
- Skills: Effective communication, mathematical competency, problem solving, tech proficiency with MS Office, POS systems, and inventory software.
- Other: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and a customer-centric approach.
Work Environment
This is an in-person position in a moderate noise environment focused on hands-on operational tasks.
