Project Engineer - Demolition & Earthwork
Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a background in demolition or earthwork looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional to support the planning and execution of our demolition and site development projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage demolition and earthwork projects from pre-construction to completion
- Prepare project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports
- Conduct site visits and assist Superintendents and Project Managers
- Collaborate with field superintendents, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Track quantities, change orders, and RFIs; support project billing and budget management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory/permit requirements and safety standards
- Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the project duration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in demolition, earthwork, or heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, estimating, and field operations
- Familiarity with construction software (Contractor Foreman, AutoCAD, Trimble, etc.)
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
