About the Communications Strategist Role

Our Fortune 500 financial client is seeking a Communications Strategist responsible for working with a team to design and execute communications strategies in support of the firm’s community relations programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Support Strategic Execution: Lead and support execution of communications programs, develop strategy aligned with community relations and firm objectives.
Project Management: Assist in tactical implementation for major community initiatives and nationwide programs, including Alzheimer’s Association commitment, US field giving, Season of Giving, and United Way partnership activities.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key partners, media, colleagues, community, and business stakeholders to amplify the firm’s community programs.
Candidate Requirements
- 7+ years of communications experience in community affairs, public affairs, ESG, philanthropy or related fields.
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- Proven ability to drive projects, delegate tasks, and manage workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
