Role: Senior Process Engineer, Manufacturing

This role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing modeling, line design, tact-time analysis, forecasting, and process improvements to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Design production line layout, staffing, and processes
  • Forecast budgets for time, labor, opex, and tooling
  • Optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality
  • Ensure end-of-line product quality
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitor production data to identify trends
  • Manage manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
  • Detail-oriented with capability to manage multiple projects
  • Commitment to continuous improvement

Salary

Fremont, CA salary range: $137,000—$175,000 USD
