Head of Core Systems (RevOps)
The Head of Core Systems (RevOps) is responsible for shaping, driving, and embedding innovation across core GTM systems, with a specific focus on AI‑enabled use cases, automation, and intelligent execution across the revenue lifecycle.
At L40, this role operates as a high‑impact enterprise partner and thought leader, influencing strategy, roadmaps, and adoption outcomes without owning full enterprise accountability. The role focuses on design, prioritization, and enablement of innovation, working through cross‑functional leaders and delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, adopted, and value‑driven.
This role bridges business needs, systems capabilities, and AI opportunity, ensuring innovation is grounded in GTM reality and supports execution, productivity, and scale.
Scope & Focus Areas
Core GTM Systems (Influence & Design)
- Lead‑to‑Quote (CRM, seller workflows, demand flow)
- Quote‑to‑Order (CPQ, pricing, approvals, booking)
- Customer Success platforms (post‑sale lifecycle, renewals, expansion)
AI & Intelligent Automation
- Identification and shaping of AI‑enabled use cases embedded in GTM workflows
- Automation, insights, and decision support across seller, manager, and operator experiences
Adoption & Enablement (Partnership‑Driven)
- Influence enablement, learning, and change approaches required for adoption
- Ensure innovation is usable, understandable, and embedded in day‑to‑day work
Key Responsibilities
AI Innovation & Opportunity Identification
- Identify, frame, and prioritise AI and automation opportunities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps
- Translate business problems into clear innovation use cases with measurable outcomes
- Stay close to emerging AI trends, tools, and risks relevant to GTM systems
Roadmap Shaping & Strategic Influence
- Partner with Core Systems, Enablement, and RevOps leaders to shape roadmaps and priorities
- Contribute to business cases, value hypotheses, and adoption considerations
- Influence sequencing based on business readiness, data maturity, and change impact
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Act as a connector and integrator across Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, CS Ops, Enablement, RevOps Intelligence, IT/D&T, Finance, and HR
- Translate complex needs into practical, scalable innovation concepts
- Support governance forums with insight, analysis, and recommendations
Adoption, Change & Value Realisation
- Partner with Enablement and Change teams to ensure AI and system innovations are adopted
- Monitor early signals of adoption and usage; surface risks and improvement opportunities
- Help teams understand not just how solutions work, but why they matter
Execution Readiness & Intelligent GTM
- Support readiness for GTM changes (segmentation, forecasting, pricing, compensation) by embedding intelligence and automation into workflows
- Partner with RevOps Intelligence to ensure solutions are data‑informed and insight‑driven

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $ 190,000 to $340,000 annually.
