Our Team

The ELL Tech Franchising team is responsible for ensuring data integration, quality, governance, and availability to support franchise operations and enable analytical products, scalable integrations, and insights for business, planning, marketing, and operational teams.

About The Role: Data Delivery Lead

We are seeking a Data Delivery Lead to oversee, coordinate, and ensure end‑to‑end delivery of data initiatives, from ingestion in source systems (ERPs, CRMs, operational platforms) to the availability of trusted analytical models and data products.

This role acts as a central connection point between business teams, data engineering, and stakeholders, ensuring requirement clarity, prioritization, governance, and consistent delivery cadence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle of data initiatives, including discovery, requirement gathering, validation, documentation, and go‑live.
• Translate business needs into structured, actionable functional requirements.
• Organize, refine, and maintain the data backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Facilitate refinement, planning, and recurring checkpoint rituals to maintain visibility across teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of data processes, business rules, data dictionaries, and change history.
• Conduct data validations, reconciliation processes, and consistency checks across models.
• Act as the functional reference for analysts, engineers, and partner teams.
• Coordinate ingestion and pipeline activities across multiple source systems (ERPs, CRMs, and other operational platforms).
• Support deliveries across different data layers (landing, raw, trusted, refined), ensuring structure and standardization.
• Ensure transparent, clear communication with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end data initiatives, including ingestion, modeling, validation, and documentation.
• Background working with multiple business units and technical teams.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience with data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation best practices.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and data visualization/documentation platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Organizational discipline, autonomy, and ability to connect data, processes, and business outcomes.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
