As an Associate Editorial Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting Pearson editors across various IT professional disciplines. This position involves working with both internal and external stakeholders on administrative and editorial tasks, ensuring data integrity, and contributing to overall editorial efforts. This role aligns with industry titles such as Editorial Assistant, Assistant Editor, Junior Content Developer, or Learning Content Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Purchase Orders and Invoicing:
- Create, review, and process purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance for contracted work.
- Verify, match, and process invoices, actively resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Coordinate effectively with vendors to ensure timely invoice receipt and address issues promptly.
- Utilize company systems to track transactions and maintain strict adherence to Pearson's policy compliance.
- Maintain detailed records, generate essential reports, and collaborate with finance and procurement teams.
- Supporting Projects and Content Lists:
- Learn and skillfully navigate Pearson Business Systems for efficient project creation and ISBN request management.
- Develop proficiency in AI tools to actively support and enhance editorial initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of engaging quizzes designed to elevate digital product offerings.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to streamline workflows and continuously improve content quality.
- Perform editorial tasks as assigned by your manager and actively engage in additional editorial responsibilities.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelors degree or higher.
