Operations Manager Role at PCs for People

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing operational performance in an assigned market. This role includes leading warehouse and refurbishment operations, ensuring compliance with R2 and NAID standards, managing inventory, and directing staff to achieve both financial and mission-driven goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Oversight: Oversee warehouse, refurbishment, retail, surplus, and logistics activities aligned with national SOPs.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead staff to achieve KPIs, maintain P&L accountability, and optimize inventory and sales channels.
  • Vendor Management & Supply Chain: Manage vendor relationships ensuring compliance and efficient procurement.
  • Facility Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and maintain certifications and audits.
  • People & Performance Management: Supervise staff, deliver training, and drive performance reviews.
  • Volunteer & Community Integration: Incorporate volunteer work into daily operations and ensure high-quality output.

Requirements

5+ years in warehouse, tech refurbishment, or operational roles; familiarity with e-waste, R2/NAID compliance, and ISO standards; strong inventory, staff development, and vendor coordination skills; proven leadership and analytical abilities; passion for digital equity and sustainability; excellent communication; ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment; and physical capability to perform required tasks.
