Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Analyst Team Lead - Lending to support the Merchant Lending team. The ideal candidate will analyze user behavior, identify funnel drop-offs, monitor performance, and work closely with Product Managers to drive product improvements through data.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and monitor funnel performance for merchant lending offerings.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for bottlenecks and anomalies.
• Generate insights and validate hypotheses in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Stay updated on data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML developments.
• Create dashboards and reports using Looker, MS Excel, and BI tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, risk, and operations for experimentation and data validation.
• Automate regular reporting and deep analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 2-4 years experience in data or product analytics, ideally in fintech.
• Strong SQL skills including window functions, CTEs, joins, and nested queries.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with Looker or similar BI tools and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
• Experience with AI/ML tools including LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for data summarization and automation.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and agentic AI systems.
• Nice to have: Exposure to A/B testing, lending or risk workflows, funnel analysis, conversion optimization, and behavioral analytics.
