Job Description Summary
The Staff Cybersecurity Engineer leverages expert security knowledge to solve complex issues, drive security initiatives across teams, and embed secure practices into the application development lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve advanced security issues with best practices.
- Collaborate with teams to drive and influence security initiatives.
- Apply analytical skills for solving challenging security problems.
- Conduct security design, architecture, and code reviews.
- Guide secure integration of AI, LLMs, and automation tooling.
- Mentor engineers and shape product security roadmaps.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of application security vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and familiarity with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA). Strong communication skills and experience in mentoring and influencing technical decisions are critical.
