Job Summary

As a Sr Staff Content Designer, you will lead complex projects requiring a deep understanding of current business trends. This role involves collaborating with various teams to resolve intricate problems related to content and user experience, and developing processes that significantly improve global content design practices. You will also play a crucial part in mentoring junior team members and analyzing user feedback to inform content strategy and design improvements, ultimately ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience across all PayPal platforms.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop clear objectives and priorities within content design to deliver impactful results and meet organizational goals.
• Influence decision-making processes at the senior leadership level, guiding strategic content direction.
• Perform highly complex work assignments, leveraging extensive domain knowledge and business expertise.
• Develop and deliver innovative content design strategies that significantly enhance user experience and benefit both customers and clients.
• Lead major business projects that directly impact the content design unit or the broader product function.
• Design, evaluate, and select process, product, and service improvements based on a thorough understanding of business needs and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation, Benefits, and Work Arrangement

The base pay for this role at PayPal depends on your work location, relevant experience, and expertise. The expected annual pay range for the primary location, San Jose, California, is $143,500.00 - $212,850.00. For Austin, Texas, the range is $130,500.00 - $193,600.00. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation. PayPal offers a balanced hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office for in-person collaboration and allowing 2 days at your choice of office or home workspace.
