Job Description Summary

As a Sr SDET Mobile on the PayPal Ads Engineering team, you will design and execute comprehensive manual and exploratory tests to ensure high-quality mobile releases on iOS and Android. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to validate new features and drive continuous quality improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver complete solutions across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Guide junior engineers and advise management on project issues.
• Operate independently with technical decision-making based on best practices.

Expected & Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant experience preferred with mobile test automation expertise for Android and iOS.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, and XCTest.
• Programming in Python, NodeJS, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Compensation & Work Model

The base pay depends on location and experience with an expected range for San Jose, California of $143,500 to $212,850 annually, plus potential bonuses, equity, or other incentives. The role follows a balanced hybrid model: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote or office as per preference.
