Job Description Summary
The RFP Content Strategist will join the Commercial Strategy & Execution team to drive high-value sales opportunities by developing strategic, persuasive, and customer-aligned content. This role requires strong writing acumen and effective cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve sales operation issues
- Recommend best practices for efficiency
- Lead functional projects to improve sales support
- Partner with departments to analyze business trends
- Mentor analysts and senior analysts
Expected Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in proposal development or content strategy
- Excellence in high-stakes, client-facing business writing
- Mastery of RFP response tools (Loopio preferred) and proficiency with AI tools
- Experience in Fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven industries
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proven capability to work independently in a globally distributed team
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RFP response development
- Create executive summaries, cover letters, and pitch materials
- Translate complex solutions into clear narratives
- Manage and update the RFP knowledge base
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product, and Marketing teams
- Manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines
Compensation and Work Arrangement
The base pay varies by location. For example, in Chicago, IL, the range is approximately $117,500 to $174,350 annually. Additional compensation may include bonuses, equity, or other incentives. PayPal follows a balanced hybrid work model: 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
