Job Overview
The Manager, U.S. Public Policy will focus on developing PayPal’s U.S.-focused financial services and supporting the government relations team through engagement with US federal and state policymakers. This role collaborates with business units and other teams within PayPal.
Essential Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend best practices for government relations and regulatory compliance.
- Lead functional projects and programs related to government relations.
- Conduct analysis to understand business trends and their implications.
- Participate in advocacy efforts to influence public policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategies.
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and public policy issues.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop public policy positions to shape financial services legislation and regulations.
- Create briefing documents, talking points, and background materials for advocacy engagements.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and business units to assess policy impacts.
- Represent PayPal before trade associations, coalitions, and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 8 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Location
This hybrid role is based in Washington DC with a pay range of $123,500 to $183,150 annually. Additional compensation may include performance bonus, equity, or other incentives.
