Role Overview: Manager, Technical Account Management
This role serves as a sophisticated thought partner by identifying issues, recommending best practices, and leading functional projects and programs. You will collaborate closely with teams to improve service delivery and ensure clients maximize the value of PayPal's services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage and close deals based on technical and operational requirements.
- Partner with Enterprise merchants through discovery and consulting sessions.
- Implement product demos, proof of concepts, and diagram system flows.
- Advocate for customer needs and overcome adoption blockers.
- Install and configure payment APIs and commerce products.
- Communicate major technical issues and consult on integration best practices.
Expected Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Observability and Monitoring Tools such as Datadog and Splunk.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude AI and Perplexity.
Compensation & Benefits
PayPal offers competitive base pay, annual bonuses, equity, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health, life insurance, flexible work environment, and more. The primary location in Chicago, Illinois offers a pay range of $117,500.00 - $174,350.00 annually.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
