Role Overview: Manager, Software Engineering

As part of the Merchant Reporting & Insights team, you will lead the design and development of mission-critical, scalable data systems and platforms that deliver millions of high-volume reports. Your leadership in big data, real-time processing, and software engineering will drive innovation, performance improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to software engineers.
• Establish and deliver outcomes and key results (OKRs).
• Drive improvements in KPIs and team productivity.
• Develop and execute engineering roadmaps to add customer value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve product and business objectives.
• Ensure end-to-end ownership of software development processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software industry, 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Expertise in Big Data technologies (Spark, Airflow, Hive) and Java/J2EE.
• Experience with distributed systems, ML integrations, and real-time processing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Exposure to ML platforms like Kubeflow or MLflow is a plus.
