About the Role

The Account Executive, Vertical SaaS Partnerships will drive new revenue growth by selling embedded finance solutions into vertical SaaS platforms. This role focuses on sourcing, closing, and managing new SaaS partner relationships while collaborating with internal teams to align PayPal’s innovative financial solutions with partner business models.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new partner relationships.
  • Foster strategic communication and collaboration.
  • Support partner growth strategies.
  • Initiate regular partner check-ins.
  • Communicate partner needs internally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development through prospecting and closing deals.
  • Deliver compelling value propositions and deal structures.
  • Onboard partners with cross-functional teams.
  • Build executive-level relationships with decision makers.
  • Collaborate on partner activation campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience in sales/business development in fintech, SaaS, or payments.
  • Understanding of embedded finance and SaaS monetization.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with results-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay ranges vary by location, with New York City offering between $186,000 and $276,100 annually. Additional incentive compensations include commission and potential equity, alongside comprehensive benefits and a balanced hybrid work model.

Work Environment
