Paylocity, an award-winning provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions, is seeking a Manager Engineering Data Engineering to lead a data engineering team. This fully remote role supports business objectives by delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions and enhancing team performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a data engineering team aligned with business and product goals.
- Ensure scalability, quality, and health of the data engineering pipelines.
- Drive technical execution, operational efficiency, and impactful delivery.
- Facilitate team processes including planning, bug triage, and metrics review.
- Collaborate with Product, Security, and Business teams to align technical strategy.
- Coach and mentor engineers to support career growth and skill development.
- Monitor team performance and drive continuous process improvement.
Education and Experience
Requirements include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, 5+ years of data engineering experience with 1+ year in a management role, and a background in data technologies such as DBT and Snowflake.
