Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Advisor to guide our technology strategy, support product development, and ensure our systems meet industry standards. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, and product teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic technical guidance on system architecture, scalability, and security.
- Advise on payment systems, APIs, and FinTech integrations.
- Review and improve existing technology stack and infrastructure.
- Support decision-making on new technologies and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
- Mentor internal technical teams and promote best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in FinTech, payments, or financial systems with Minimum 7-10 years experience.
- Strong background in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and APIs.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, e-wallets, or banking integrations.
- Understanding of security standards (PCI-DSS, encryption, fraud prevention).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume transaction systems.
- Knowledge of regional payment ecosystems (e.g., Southeast Asia).
- Prior advisory or leadership role in a tech company.
