Overview

We're looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our AI Platforms team and support the automation of consumer onboarding workflows and infrastructure management. You'll work primarily in Azure (with some GCP and AWS), helping manage infrastructure that powers our AI platform services and Azure-based AI technologies. This is a great opportunity to grow your platform engineering skills while working on cutting-edge AI infrastructure, learning from senior engineers, and contributing to automated, self-service workflows that enable internal teams to rapidly access AI platform resources.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of automated onboarding workflows in Cortex.io for AI platform consumers (internal teams)
• Assist in building and maintaining self-service onboarding processes for platform resources including identity/access management, project provisioning, secrets management, database provisioning, and repository setup
• Help develop new automation workflows for emerging AI platform use cases and services
• Support and maintain Azure infrastructure: AKS, Azure Container Apps (ACA), App Gateways, Azure Networking, KeyVaults, PostgreSQL
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and GitHub Actions
• Help configure and maintain Azure App Gateways for on-prem connectivity
• Assist with observability implementation using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry
• Provide hands-on support for platform infrastructure, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance tasks
• Learn and grow platform engineering skills through mentorship and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure experience
• Experience with Azure cloud services (or other cloud platforms with willingness to learn Azure)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform
• Understanding of containerization concepts (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
• Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with version control systems (Git required)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Familiarity with GitHub or similar platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and platform engineering practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions
• Bonus: Exposure to Cortex.io, internal developer portals, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, API gateways, or observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Bonus: Interest in AI/ML platforms, LangGraph, Astronomer/Airflow, or Snowflake
