About the role
Product Manager
North Product Management is dedicated to building industry-leading, innovative, user-first products within FinTech. Payanywhere empowers merchants to accept payments wherever they do business. Payments Hub provides a comprehensive portal for business management.
Because our business is evolving rapidly, we are hiring generalist Product Managers who possess strong foundational product management skills rather than niche domain expertise. In this role, you won't be locked into a rigid box from day one. Instead, we will assess your unique strengths, passions, and background during the interview process to place you in a specific product domain (such Payments, Disputes, Reporting).
This is a cross-functional role. You will work closely with product management teams, UX/UI, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, risk, compliance, sales, etc. in order to identify and translate business and customer needs for the PayAnywhere and Payments Hub applications. You will ensure on-time delivery of new feature launches, test their performance, and know how to iterate quickly.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery.
- Turn complex data into actionable and compelling insights for merchants to grow their business.
- Create clear success metrics to accurately measure adoption and performance of new features.
- Define, document, and review requirements with stakeholders and engineering.
- Facilitate beta testing to recommend improvements to product prior to launch.
- Communicate development status and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop and write training content to ensure alignment of product knowledge internally and externally (sales).
- Champion the merchant and their customers to offer a stable, secure, and seamless payments experience.
- Collect and prioritize feedback and requests from merchants, sales partners, and the organization.
- Research and understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.
What we need from you:
- BA/BS in a quantitative or technical field.
- 2+ years product management experience.
- Experience in payments or fintech products is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of building products from inception to execution.
- Working knowledge of the agile development process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to identify user challenges and needs.
- Ability to positively influence others and maintain effective business relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work through uncertainty.
Salary Range:
$100,000- $130,000
Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.
