Job Description
About Paxlife Innovations GmbH
Are you a public transport user? So are we at PaxLife Innovations, and we enable public transport operators to make this experience even better. If you want to be part of this journey, you've come to the right place. Based in Potsdam, right next to the main station, our company supports local and national transport companies in taking their passenger information services to the next level.
Our vision is unified passenger information. With our railSTACK platform, we enable our customers to optimize the flow of information at all contact points, from stations and stops to in-train displays, audio devices, and digital channels, ensuring passengers are well-informed throughout their journey.
Your Role: Technology-Oriented Sales & Tenders
We are looking for a motivated candidate (w/m/d) for our Business Development team who will contribute to the growth of our activities in the DACH region. This is not just a sales role; it requires a system-integrative mindset to translate complex software and hardware requirements into successful solution proposals.
Responsibilities
- Leading the entire lifecycle of identified passenger information tenders in the DACH markets, where appropriate, in coordination with selected partners.
- Managing all aspects of the preparation and submission of technical, administrative, and commercial bids and pre-qualifications: analysis of tender documents, creation of materials, presentation of solutions and timelines, monitoring of requirement fulfillment, proofreading, and contributions to external documentation.
- Defining the technical solution in cooperation with the technical department.
- Supporting contract negotiations and potential bid presentations to customers.
- Pre-Sales strategy: increasing PaxLife's market presence and the railSTACK solution by actively influencing the structure and content of upcoming tenders to align them with our offerings.
Your Profile
- Technical Background: Economically oriented engineer (m/w/d); you have a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Professional Experience: You bring at least 5 years of experience in IT systems; experience in tender management or in the public transport sector is an advantage.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You are able to adapt your presentation to different interlocutors and translate technical solutions into clear concepts for both engineering teams and business decision-makers.
- Language: For the DACH market, excellent German language skills (C2) are essential, complemented by excellent English skills.
What We Offer
Become part of an international, dedicated team with flat hierarchies and a passion for innovation. As a dynamic, small company, we offer you an attractive working environment where you have the opportunity to develop quickly and take on real responsibility as we expand our activities in the DACH region.
- Flexibility: Home office options and flexible working hours.
- Work Environment: A friendly team in a nice office directly next to Potsdam Central Station.
- Work-Life Balance: 30 days of vacation and a competitive salary.
