Overview

As Technical Product Manager, you will enable personalized omnichannel experiences, responsible digital marketing, and strong community engagement through technology enabled solutions. You will design and manage product roadmaps and visions, write requirements, conduct business analysis, curate technical requirements, manage tech stacks, and ultimately deliver outcomes in strong collaboration with key stakeholders including DTC, UX, and other technology teams.

What You’ll Do
- Set User Centric Vision & Roadmaps: Lead creation, prioritization, and execution of integrated product roadmaps and strategies, aligning cross-functional partners against Patagonia’s strategic, Technology, and Customer goals and milestones for personalization, marketing, and community engagement tech solutions. Champion a user-centric approach by deeply understanding and empathizing with users through quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
- Deliver Outcomes: Roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to reach the right outcomes the right way. Drive collaborative agile planning / development / testing, deliver complex technology solutions to business outcomes, resolve dependencies and risks, create and manage technical product requirements and specifications, manage integrations, and enable creativity and innovation.
- Measure & Influence: Gather, analyze, and translate qualitative and quantitative data to develop actionable insights, compelling business cases, and cross-team KPIs for continuous monitoring and improvement of product performance and user experience.
- Relationships & Trust: Foster strong, transparent, trust-based relationships with cross-functional and regional stakeholders, building an empathetic and engaged environment.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage deep technical and industry expertise to champion innovation, quality, and impact, ensuring all product and technology solutions support both business objectives and Patagonia’s environmental mission.
- Innovate: Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies (e.g., generative and agentic AI) to anticipate industry shifts and actively innovate how you do your work.

Experience You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field – or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of technical product management experience in personalized consumer product or retail
- Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing product roadmaps, stakeholder alignment, and production deliveries across ROI generating solutions and products.
- Familiarity with technical architecture, APIs, AI, and integration for omnichannel DTC experiences.
- Experience with both foundational (e.g., SFCC or Shopify, Wordpress, Klaviyo) and emerging (e.g., GenAI, AR) customer technology solutions
- Experience delivering personalized experiences and responsible AI-enabled solutions.
- Deep customer data expertise and demonstrated analytical skills with a consistent record of data-enabled decision-making and products
- Experience working with lean and geographically distributed teams in agile fashion. Experience with Azure DevOps (or similar) for backlog and requirement management is a plus
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives and user experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- AI super user actively experimenting with how to use AI (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Gemini) to innovate and amplify your work
Hiring range: $130,000- $145,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget. Note the full pay range for this role ranges from: $110,000- $166,000 USD Annual USD. The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.

Workplace Location
