About the Team
This role sits in the Acceleration department, responsible for driving ecosystem growth through tools, integrations, and partnerships. Reporting to the Engineering Lead in the Builder Experiences team, you will help accelerate both internal and external developer initiatives on the Polkadot network.
About the Role
As a DevTooling Engineer Web3, you will define new approaches to building software, both internally at Parity and across the Polkadot ecosystem. You will work on developer tooling, create Web3 app prototypes, and integrate AI solutions to enhance developer processes. Your role involves developer advocacy, building dApps, and enriching documentation and learning resources.
Responsibilities
- Developer Tooling: Iterate on internal and external tools, build prototypes, and streamline processes.
- Developer Advocacy: Engage with developers through hackathons, conferences, forums, and support channels.
- Building dApps: Develop Web3 applications and prototypes to demonstrate practical use cases.
- Documentation & Learning: Create and update developer documentation, tutorials, and videos.
- Emerging Initiatives: Shape new projects by identifying gaps in the developer journey.
Your Skills
- Prototyping mindset with rapid iteration from idea to code.
- Strong developer communications and documentation ability.
- Adept in AI and its application to development processes.
- Curiosity about Web3 principles and ecosystem innovations.
- Familiarity with Javascript, Typescript, Rust, and Solidity.
