About the Team
The Acceleration department drives ecosystem growth by building tools, integrations, and partnerships on the Polkadot network. Reporting to the Engineering Product Lead, the Product Development team defines priorities and works collaboratively to create and deliver features that enhance user experience.
About the Role
As an Android Developer, you will lead in designing and building high-performance Android applications within the blockchain space. Your role is focused on creating beautiful UX, solving complex challenges like cross-chain transactions and implementing zero-trust security models, while staying cutting-edge with the latest blockchain SDKs and cryptographic measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop fluid and high-performance Android applications.
- Create intuitive interfaces to facilitate easy crypto adoption.
- Innovate by solving complex mobile security and blockchain challenges.
- Implement latest blockchain SDKs and encryption techniques.
- Collaborate globally with engineers, product managers, and the blockchain community.
Your Skills
- Proficiency in Android development with Kotlin.
- Expertise in Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and MVVM architecture.
- Deep understanding of encryption and secure data storage.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling.
